Appreciating Autumn's Arrival

We hope you have been enjoying the crisp, sunny weather this holiday weekend, and taking in all the beauty and festivities of autumn as the season settles in around us.

Walking to school on International Walk to School Day was a great way for us to take in the sights, sounds and smells of autumn's arrival.  This was a special day for us to focus on building healthy habits, promoting a cleaner environment, encouraging street safety and boosting our sense of community.

The PTA Fall Fest was a super-fun way for our school community to come together to enjoy and celebrate the arrival of autumn.

PTA brought in a variety of inflatables for students to enjoy.

Thanks to many parent and high school volunteers, there were a wide variety of carnival-like games for the children to experience.

It was also great to see the fifth grade students volunteering by helping with face-painting.

There were a variety of arts & crafts--pumpkin painting, spider-making, sock tie-dying and lantern-making.

Despite the cool, damp weather, the PTA Fall Fest was a popping-good time for all! Thank you, PTA!
