Dolphins Go, Go, Go!

"Dolphins Go, Go, Go!" is part of the chorus line of our school song written by our music teacher, Mr. Deptula. It makes me think of how we are wishing all of our students and staff all the best as they go off to new adventures in new places this summer.

The end of the school year is always bittersweet. It's hard to say good-bye to the people who have inspired us and meant so much over the years.

We will miss our Tech Facilitator, Mrs. Breaux, as she retires after 12 years of wonderful service to Dryden. It's amazing to think of how much technology has changed over those 12 years. We are grateful that she was here to help us learn and use the newest and best technology to benefit our students. We wish Mrs. Breaux all the best!

We will miss our fifth grade students as they move on to South Middle School, too! They have learned and grown up so much over their years at Dryden, and we are very proud of them.

We also thank the fifth grade students for their class gift of beautiful new LMC furniture. Dolphins will be able to enjoy reading in this inviting area for years to come!

It's been full STEAM ahead for many of our students as we continue to provide fun activities that integrate science, technology, engineering, arts and math up to the very last day of school.

We hope that our students enjoy the challenges, creativity, collaboration and problem-solving, and
hope our students will want to continue tinkering, designing and inventing over the summer as part of their play.

Thank you, Mrs. Wasik, for preparing these enriching activities for our students during the last days of school!

Students also had a blast trying to solve puzzles and figure out codes to unlock boxes with more clues and puzzles in a Breakout EDU simulation.

This was a great experience where students learned to persevere, work together and communicate effectively as they problem-solve and engage in friendly competition with peer groups.

We thank the PTA, 145 volunteers and PE Teacher, Mr. Gries, for a truly wonderful Field Day!

The weather was beautiful! We couldn't ask for a nicer day.

It was so great to see parents, teachers and students interacting and playing together!

We hope our students and families will be able to get outside and enjoy similar activities and games throughout the summer.

We wish you all the best. Thank you for an incredible school year!

Dolphins, go, go, go enjoy your summer vacation!
